You must have heard that humans evolved over the years. Also, you may have heard the biblical story of creation.
Sometimes, people are thrown between these two claims, with confusion about what to believe.
Everyone believes differently. But we will focus on the biblical story of creation, while also drawing inferences from the evolution story and science.
According to a version of the story of evolution, modern humans originated in Africa within the past 200,000 years.
They evolved from their most likely recent common ancestor, Homo erectus.
Homo erectus means ‘upright man’ in Latin.
According to the story, homo erectus is an extinct species of human that lived between 1.9 million and 135,000 years ago (1).
They evolved to humans over the years, with different stories chronicling how this happened.
While there are different propositions backing this claims, there is also another that holds our attention.
Recently, we studied this evolution story and scientific findings on how a male and female child is formed.
There is one thing we found that gladly points us to the creation story in the bible.
It is this observation of ours that we want to share here.
The Male And Female Sex From Biblical Story Of Creation
Looking through reports on the chromosomes of humans, we found that a man has both the female and male chromosomes – XY.
The woman has just one XX.
There is not much explanations about why these chromosomes are they way they are in a man and woman.
But the biblical story of creation sort of explains why this is so.
Consider the book of Genesis.
Genesis 1: 26: Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (2).
Further in the second chapter of Genesis, we found further explanations of the creation story.
God took a rib from the man and made a woman.
Basically, when God made man, the woman was in the man, giving the man an ability to have the two chromosomes XY.
When the woman was formed, she had just the female chromosomes because she has to look feminine. God took out the female chromosomes, multiplied it and then made a woman.

Could this be the reason a woman has the ability to multiply things? Give her a sperm she multiplies it, adding her X to it and then produces a baby.
To a very large extent, this holds some sort of explanation about the the biblical story of creation.
Otherwise, it is difficult to explain why a man has two chromosomes to determine what the sex of a baby would be.
