Seasonal Changes: 7 Ways To Minimise Hospitalisation

As season changes, people, mostly children fall ill. But you and yours could scale strong through seasonal changes strong if you would do a few things.

However, you should develop a habit of shutting your home doors and windows to minimise how much dust comes in.

Clean the ceiling fan and the vent of your air-conditioner.

Clean the surfaces as often as you can and also attend to your curtains and window nets.

2.     Use Nose Mask Even If You Don’t Feel Like It

The nose mask is not only for COVID-19 prevention. Wearing a nose mask would reduce the amount of dust you inhale.

Dust is one reason people come down with respiratory diseases in dry season.

With a nose mask the chances of contracting flu is lowered.

3.     Nutrition Remedies

Your meals play an important role in how healthy you will be when seasonal changes happen.

Unfortunately, the way many eat carbs and simple sugar is alarming. Choose healthy alternatives.

It will be okay to increase your intake of vegetables and fruits every time the season changes.

Fruits have antioxidants that will make antibodies that travel with the dust harmless.

Some fruits with high antioxidants to add to your diet this period are baobab fruit, oranges, star fruit ( agbalumo), pineapple.

You can also make a juice from the pineapple peel.

Do away with junk foods and so much carbohydrate at this time. Those are toxic foods that could make anyone fall ill.

4.     Cold Remedy

A cold remedy will help you keep cold and diseases related to it away.

It is a simple process.

Get lemon, black seed oil or original olive oil.

Boil some water and then add it to a tea cup. Add any of the above items to the warm water and take as tea.

You can also add few drops of wild honey. However, refrain from honey if you are diabetic.

5.     Exercise

Your body’s oxygen levels have to be normal through the season for you to to stay healthy.

As a result, engaging in moderate to high intensity exercise would be of great help to your body.

However, if you are fasting, confirm your eligibility from your doctor, health coach or sport trainer.

6.     Hot Steam
