As we step into a new season, one of the things that happen is that you could encounter nasal blockage. If that ever comes, doing a head steam with Gilead Balm could change the game for you.
Here is how to do a head steam with Gilead Balm which is available in our store.
✅ What You’ll Need:
1 teaspoon of Gilead Balm
A bowl of hot water (not boiling)
A towel or cloth
A comfortable chair and table
📝 Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Steam
Boil water and pour it carefully into a large bowl.
Add about 1 teaspoon of Gilead Balm to the hot water.
Stir gently to dissolve the balm into the steam.
Step 2: Position Yourself
Sit comfortably at a table.
Place the bowl of steaming water on the table.
Drape a towel over your head and the bowl, creating a “tent” to trap the steam.
Step 3: Inhale The Steam
Close your eyes and breathe in the steam deeply through your nose for 10–15 minutes.
Take breaks if needed—don’t let it feel too hot or uncomfortable.
Step 4: Aftercare
Gently wipe your face and blow your nose to clear mucus.
Drink a glass of water to stay hydrated.
Rest in a warm room and avoid cold air immediately after steaming.
⚠️ Safety Tips:
Keep your face at least 10–12 inches away from the water to avoid burns.
Do not use on young children or babies unless directed by a doctor.
If you feel dizzy or irritated, stop immediately.
Use once or twice daily, especially when feeling congested.
