If your height is 5.6ft and your weight is 64kg, your BMI is 23 which is a healthy weight (green). If you are of the same height and your weight is 82kg you BMI is 29, You are currently higher than your ideal weight and a step away from obesity.

You need to come down to at most 68kg to be in healthy weight. However, at that weight, you are closer to being higher than your ideal weight.

This is why it is okay to target a maximum of 64kg if you are 5.6ft.

While this is not a very guaranteed way of knowing if someone is healthy, studies say it is a guide to knowing your ideal weight that could help you guard against some diseases (1) (2).
